13th May , Standing Committee member of Langfang Party Committee Wang Dahu gathered the responsible leaders of Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Bureau of Commerce, Fire Detachment, the Armed Police Detachment, and other relevant departments to arrange the security work of the 2008 “5•18” CIFIT.
After listening to the report of 2008 “5•18” CIFIT security preparations for relevant departments, Wang Dahu arranged the security work in details further. He pointed out that CIFIT is a major work undertaken by our city, dense people, high-level of all activities, wide range, and large impact, especially held before the Olympic Games. The exhibition is so large-scale, so the responsibilities of security is more important. All relevant departments at all levels must attach great importance to the meeting, fully aware the objective situation of “5•18” security work, unify their thought to the requirement of municipal Party Committee, maintain high-degree of political sensitivity to create cultural, peaceful and harmonious atmosphere for the meeting.
Wang Dahu stressed that all relevant departments should firmly establish the awareness of “Meeting organization is no small matter” and “Safety first”, in accordance with the thought of doing security work before and out the meeting, do best on the security work of main scene of the meeting and exhibition area; implement various prevention measures , strengthen the ablity to deal all kinds of unexpected incidents of emergency; strengthen the supervision of the scene, hotel and other important places; do good convergence work and form concentrated efforts; do work training well to improve the ability for undertaking the large-scale exhibition; stress of legal enforcement, display the good image of Langfang to organize the event harmoniously and peacefully.
Before the arrangement meeting, Wang Dahu went to Langfang junction of JingJinTang Express, exhibition halls of Langfang International Exhibition Center to inspect the arrangement of police and fire security.
