　　May 18th – 21st, the China·Langfang High-tech and Modern Service Industry Investment Trade Meeting (short for "5 18" CIFIT) which evolutes from Northeast Asia and Bohai-Rim International Business Festival" will be held in Langfang. On April 25th morning, our city held a mobilization meeting to further promote the exciting spirit and energy of the whole city ,and prepare for the meeting, to ensure the success  of  "5 18" CIFIT .

　　Secretary of Langfang Municipal Committee of CPC Zhao Shihong delivered speech on the meeting, Mayor Wang as the moderator. Municipal leaders Kou Desong, Wang Huiyong, Yang Guolin, Xiao Shuangsheng, Lv Aiying, Rao Guihua, Sun Diangao, Rong Shitong, Zhang Weidong, and director of Municipal Intermediate People's Court Wang Yuefei presented.

　　It is understood that the meeting is sponsored by China Council for Promotion of the International Trade, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Boao Forum for Asia, Hebei Provincial Government, undertaken by Langfang Municipal Peoples’ Government. The meeting is Taking the theme of “Olympic Games Opportunity, Science and Technology Hebei, IT Brand”, the tenet of “Information Sharing, Resources Integration, Industrial Connection, Projects Cooperation”, with the main points of IT industry & modern service trade and advanced manufacturing, based on high-level forum summits, including three forum summits, seven professional exhibitions and five special topic investment activities. There are six features about the meeting: First, the theme is outstanding; Second, the influence is further extending; Third, the contents is abundant; Fourth, industry feature is clear; Fifth, the international degree is advanced; Sixth, innovation on the organizing activity.

　　Zhao Shihong pointed that 2008 "5 18" is a continuation of previous work, and is given new meaning and new features. About the name, from "Northeast Asia and Bohai-Rim International Business Festival" to "China ·Langfang High-tech and Modern Service Industry Investment Trade Negotiation  Meeting" , highlights the professionalism and effectiveness, meets the future industrial development of Hebei especially Langfang, will influence much on the industrial restructure of our city definitely.　

　　The success of the meeting can meet the expectations and demands of the provincial party committee and government of Langfang, is a training exercise of the city principle Party Committee to implement the "Scientific Development, the first of Province, Stability and Harmony, Enriching the People and City" , and its also a test to all municipal leader. 

　　All departments must give a profound understanding about the "5 18" of extraordinary significance, and effectively improve their ideological and stations, the high degree of attention, prompt action, and fully grasp the implementation of the preparatory work.　　

　　Zhao Shihong proposed four-point opinion about the undertaken work. First, ensure the security aspect in the period of the meeting, all relevant departments must straighten out the centralized management, conduct an intensive investigation, particularly the health and epidemic prevention, safety management, traffic management, fire safety of the large-scale activities, seriously implement the measures and responsibilities, further improve emergency plans for the disposal of the incident;

　　Second, focus on projects work. Taking high-tech industries advanced manufacturing and modern services as main points, try best to attract investments, contract negotiations and legislation of major projects. At the same time, our city should focus on the overall regional planning projects;

　　Third, according the geographical feature of Langfang, all departments must strengthen confidence to ensure that every task, every step, every detail is accurate, precise and careful, thoughtful, comprehensive service. Langfang leaves better impression to the Chinese and foreign investors, and good human environment.　　

　　Fourth, strengthen responsibility. All departments especially leaders must focus on the organizing work of "5 18", and further strengthen the awareness of responsibility. In accordance with the responsibility division, all departments must complete overall plan of the task with high-standards and high-quality requirements, emphasize the overall situation awareness and the overall concept.

　　Under the unified and coordinated work of the organizing committee, all departments work with division and cooperation. All departments should cooperate with relevant work office, mutual help, to ensure the complete success. The Publicity Department should plan according to the city's overall planning, pay more attention to the overall publicity o Langfang, further push Langfang to the world。

　　Wang Aimin required in his speech that all organizing office should seriously implement the spirit of the meeting, effectively clear responsibility, carry out the principal of “Stricter, More Precise, Deeper”, try best to do the organizing work and win a wonderful success. We should strive to create a strong atmosphere of universal participation, responsibility and devotion. The whole city regards “5 18”as a key point of overall situation, to promote urban construction, civilization innovation, etc. to a new level.

　　The deputy mayor Xiao Shuangsheng  made statement about the Working Program of China·Langfang High-tech and Modern Service Industry Investment Trade Negotiation Meeting, and made the arrangements about the reparatory work.

　　Responsible units such as Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Development and Reform Commission delivered statement about how to do job-related functions better.
